Singles: two women's semifinals and all men's quarterfinals.

Ons Jabeur and Daria Kasatkina became the finalists of the women's event. The outcome of the final is very important for both players, because for Jabeur this win could mean her maiden title and for Kasatkina the result of the match will determine whether she will become the first or the second alternate player at WAT year end tournament in Singapore.

The first semifinal was played by Ons Jabeur and Anastasia Sevastova . The Latvian Anastasia’s, fifth seed, lost to the Tunisian Ons Gill 3/6, 6/3, 3/6. This is the 7th victory of Ons in the Moscow tournament as she made it to the main draw from the qualifications.

The second semifinal was played by Johanna Konta and. Daria Kasatkina. In this tough match Russia’s №1 Daria Kasatkina overcame the former world №4 Johanna Konta in two sets 6/4, 6/3. The match lasted 1,5 hours. Kasatkina repeated her last year's result at VTB Kremlin Cup reaching the final again.

Tomorrow at 1PM we will watch the thrilling women's finals Kasatkina vs. Jabeur.

Four quarterfinals matches were played today in the men's event. The two pairs of semifinalists look as follows: Adrian Mannarino vs Andreas Seppi and Daniil Medvedev vs Karen Khachanov.

The French Adrian Mannarino fought today against the winner of the qualifications Egor Gerasimov from Belarus. Egor who is ranked in the Top300 lost to the favorite of the match - a player from the Top50 - 6/7 (3), 3/6.

Then, on the same court, another battle broke out - it was decided who would face Mannarino in the semifinals. The 4th seed of the tournament Filip Krajinovic was facing the Italian Andreas Seppi. In two hours, Seppi prevailed over the Serb - 6/4, 7/6 (2).

Two matches with the participation of Russian player were played on the center court. Daniil Medvedev played a tough match against the lucky loser and last year's runner-up Ricardas Berankis. At the beginning of the match, Daniil was clearly dominating and won the first set in 26 minutes – 6/2. Then the Lithuanian turned the tide to take the second set 6/1. The third set turned out to be nervous, in the sixth game on the serve of Berankis, Daniil Medvedev had an argument with the chair umpire. According to Daniil, this episode helped him to get pumped up. Daniil Medvedev ended up winning 6/2, 1/6, 6/4.

The last match of the day featured Mirza Basic and the Russian Karen Khachanov. Karen left no chance to the representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the first set, but the second was close and the two opponents went into a tie-breaker - 6/2, 7/6 (5).

In the women’s doubles finslsAlexandra Panova and Laura Siegemund clinched a victory over the representative of Croatia Darija Jurac and the Romanian Raluca Olaru - 6/2, 7/6 (2). For Alexandra Panova it was the first title this year. This summer she already played in the doubles final at the Moscow River Cup – along with Galina Voskoboeva they lost to the Russians Anastasia Potapova and Vera Zvonareva.

The second seeds in men’s doubles, the representatives of the USA Austin Krajicek andRajeev Ram outplayed the German Andreas Mies and Hans Podlipnik-Castillo from Chile – 6/4, 6/3. The match lasted a little more than one hour. Tomorrow Krajicek-Ram will face Max Mirnyi from Belorussia and Philipp Oswald from Austria in the finals.
